Part of our Nerve Fresh overview. Last checked October 28, 2026.
Nerve Fresh dosage, according to the vendor, is 2 capsules a day: one capsule twice a day, taken 20 to 30 minutes before a meal[1]. Each bottle holds 60 capsules, which is 30 days at that rate. What a capsule contains is unknown, because Nerve Fresh publishes no Supplement Facts panel, so no dose can be checked against a study.
How do you take Nerve Fresh?
The vendor says to take one Nerve Fresh capsule twice a day 20 to 30 minutes before a meal. That is the only direction we found, on the vendor home page checked October 28, 2026[1].
Some details are missing. The vendor does not say which meals, whether to skip a dose you forget, or whether to take it at night. We have not seen a bottle label, so we cannot confirm the label matches the website.
What we infer, and label as our own reading: since three of the herbs can cause drowsiness, it makes sense to try the first doses at home, not before driving. This comes from the ingredient research on our Nerve Fresh side effects page, not from the vendor.
Keep taking every prescribed medicine as directed. The sales page tells readers to "Ditch Gabapentin"[2]; do not stop or lower gabapentin or any prescription without your doctor.
What is the right dose and timing?
The right dose cannot be confirmed, because the vendor names five herbs and gives no amount for any of them[1]. Two capsules a day is the vendor's serving, not a dose tested in a study.
For comparison, here is what people received in the few human studies of these herbs. None of them tested nerve pain.
| Herb | What studies used | Nerve Fresh amount |
|---|---|---|
| Passionflower | 45 drops a day of extract for 4 weeks[3]; one cup of tea nightly for 7 days[4] | Not published |
| California poppy | Only within a hawthorn and magnesium mix[5] | Not published |
| Corydalis | No standardized human dose in the sources read[6] | Not published |
| Prickly pear | 5 g a day of nopal powder for 24 weeks[7] | Not published |
| Marshmallow root | No oral dose established in the sources read | Not published |
Timing before meals is the vendor's advice. We found no study on whether food changes how these herbs work. Taking it at the same times each day makes missed doses easier to spot. Do not double up to make up for a missed capsule. Full details on each herb are on our Nerve Fresh ingredients page.
How long does one bottle last?
One bottle of 60 capsules lasts 30 days at 2 capsules a day. The vendor sells packs of 2, 3 or 6 bottles only, with no single bottle, per the order form checked October 28, 2026[8].
| Package | Capsules | Days at 2 a day | Price (checked October 28, 2026) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 bottles | 120 | 60 | $138 ($69 a bottle) |
| 3 bottles | 180 | 90 | $177 ($59 a bottle) |
| 6 bottles | 360 | 180 | $234 ($39 a bottle) |
All three ship free in the US as one-time charges with no subscription. The 180-day refund requires returning bottles at your own shipping cost[9]. More on packages is on our Nerve Fresh price page.
What should you avoid while taking it?
Avoid stacking Nerve Fresh with other sedating products unless your doctor agrees, because passionflower, corydalis and California poppy can all cause drowsiness.
- Alcohol, sleep aids, and other calming supplements.
- Gabapentin, pregabalin and opioids: ask your prescriber before adding it, and keep taking them as prescribed.
- Antipsychotics and dopamine drugs: corydalis's l-THP blocks dopamine receptors[10].
- Medicines cleared by liver enzymes CYP3A4, 2C9, 2C19 or 2D6, which poppy extracts blocked in lab tests[11].
- Diabetes and blood pressure drugs, which prickly pear may add to[12].
- Pregnancy, and the 2 weeks before surgery, per NCCIH guidance on passionflower.
Caffeine is not a named ingredient, and we found no data on combining it. Our side effects guide has the full list.
How do you track whether it is doing anything?
Keep a simple daily log for at least 4 weeks so you can judge any change against something written down. Memory tends to drift.
- Write the start date and the bottle's lot number.
- Rate foot or hand pain, tingling and numbness from 0 to 10 each evening.
- Note sleep hours and how rested you feel.
- Record drowsiness, dizziness, stomach upset or any fall.
- List any change in your prescribed medicines, made by your doctor.
- If you have diabetes, keep your usual glucose readings next to the log.
Change one thing at a time. If you start Nerve Fresh in the same week as a new shoe, cream or medicine dose, you will not know which one made a difference.
Bring the log to your next appointment. Note the purchase date too, since the vendor's refund window is 180 days[9].
When should you stop and talk to a doctor?
Stop Nerve Fresh and contact a doctor right away if you notice:
- Heavy drowsiness, confusion or slow breathing, especially with gabapentin, an opioid or alcohol (call 911).
- Yellow skin or eyes, dark urine or pain under the right ribs.
- Swelling of the face or throat, hives or trouble breathing.
- A fall, or new trouble walking.
- Numbness or weakness that spreads quickly, or a foot sore that will not heal.

Frequently asked questions
How many Nerve Fresh capsules should I take a day?
The vendor says two: one capsule twice a day, 20 to 30 minutes before a meal. A 60-capsule bottle lasts 30 days at that rate. How much of each herb the two capsules hold is not published.
What is the Nerve Fresh dosage per capsule?
Unknown. Nerve Fresh publishes no Supplement Facts panel, no label image and no amounts for its five herbs or its unnamed vitamins and minerals, as of October 28, 2026. That means no per-capsule dose can be checked against research.
Should I take Nerve Fresh with food?
The vendor says to take each capsule 20 to 30 minutes before a meal. We found no study on whether food changes how its herbs work. Pick two fixed times a day so missed doses are easy to notice.
Can I take Nerve Fresh at night?
The vendor gives no bedtime direction. Since passionflower, corydalis and California poppy can cause drowsiness, some people may prefer evening doses, but ask your doctor first if you take gabapentin, pregabalin, opioids or sleep medicine.
How long should I take Nerve Fresh before deciding?
No trial gives a timeline for the product. Passionflower studies ran 7 days to 4 weeks for sleep and anxiety. Logging symptoms for at least 4 weeks gives a fair record, well inside the vendor 180-day refund window.
